As a Project Manager, Penn leads project teams from contract to closing on direct investment deals. Penn also manages the construction process for tax credit executions which involve rehabilitation, working closely with financing partners, the contracting team, architects, engineers, municipal agencies, and community members.
Over the last three years, Penn has been involved in the acquisition, and in some cases substantial rehabilitation, of ten multifamily properties with over 1,200 units that have been financed using various combinations of LIHTC equity, ARRA funds, Fannie Mae loan products and HUD-insured loan products.
Penn has worked in real estate development for the past nine years. Prior to joining Wishrock, Penn worked with New Boston Ventures, which is one of Boston’s most active residential real estate developers and boasts of impressive success in both affordable and market rate housing, with a special focus on the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic structures.
Penn earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
