Lenita is a Senior Accounting Manager on the Finance Team at WISHROCK. In this role she takes prime responsibility for the project accounting for a portfolio of WISHROCK’s affordable housing properties throughout their lifecycle. She manages our corporate lines of credit, financials and tax and audit functions. Lenita also takes the lead on development accounting for WISHROCK’s new acquisitions, preparing for closings, processing construction requisitions and working closely with our auditors and developers on cost certifications. In her time at WISHROCK she has worked on 4% LIHTC transactions, 9% LIHTC transactions, HUD 223f loan closings and HUD 221d4 loan closings as well as several transactions involving multiple layers of soft financing.
Prior to her role at WISHROCK, Lenita was the Controller of a large national property management company that specializes in affordable housing. There she used her accounting skills and gained significant experience in HUD compliance issues.
Lenita graduated from Husson College with a degree in Business Management.
